Why I Love Weddings:

Weddings are one of the most exciting days of anyone’s life. The fact that families come together to celebrate the love of two people is a beautiful moment and I love being a part of it. It’s always exciting to feel the energy in the room when the newlyweds are introduced for the first time together. I pride myself in making sure that my clients’ weddings surpass their expectations.

A Little Bit About Myself:

Music has always been a huge part of my life. I started playing piano when I was six years old and since then I have picked up guitar, bass, trumpet, and I am currently learning trombone. Out of my family and friends, I was always the planner. I love putting on events like family gatherings, sport competitions, and parties. That urge to create unforgettable events carried over when I started weddings.

How I Handle Music Requests:

Before any event, I stay up to date with current music as well as growing my library with different genres. It’s also important to go over all of the client’s musical likes and dislikes. At an event, I try to fit in everyone’s request at appropriate times while respecting the client’s do-not-play list. Keeping the client happy is my biggest concern but I always try and accommodate any request.

How I Get Guests Up And Dancing:

It’s important to set the mood for any event right away. That’s why I like to get the crowd dancing early. I never go into a wedding with a set playlist. I always read the crowd first to see what music would work best. Mixing up genres, smooth transitions, and engaging with the crowd are some of the best ways to get people up and dancing. If they see that you’re having a good time, that energy becomes contagious.

Other Interests:

I’ve been swimming since I was nine and try to get to the beach or pool whenever possible. I love cooking at home and trying out new recipes. I take any opportunity to travel especially to places I haven't been. Lastly, I’m a professional mini golfer. Yes, that’s right. Well I haven’t won any money yet so maybe not technically “professional,” but I do compete around the country.
