Why I Love Weddings:
I love being a wedding photographer because of the way it intertwines creativity, emotion, and storytelling. Capturing the special moments of a couple's most important day is a profound and rewarding experience. There's a unique joy in freezing those fleeting instances – the loving glances, shared laughter, and tender embraces – into timeless images that will be cherished for a lifetime.
Being a witness to love stories and contributing to the visual narrative of a couple's journey is incredibly fulfilling. The role goes beyond just taking pictures; it involves immersing oneself in the celebration, understanding the nuances of each couple, and skillfully documenting the genuine emotions that unfold. The ability to turn fleeting moments into everlasting memories is the essence of why being a wedding photographer is not just a profession but a heartfelt pursuit of artistic expression and connection with the essence of love.
A Little Bit About Myself:
I am a husband, father of 7, and mildly famous for beating cancer in a novel way in Central PA. There was even a (Local) Emmy-nominated film about my journey.
Videography/Photography Style:
My wedding photographic style leans towards a documentary approach, capturing candid and natural moments as they unfold. I prioritize authentic and unscripted emotions, aiming to tell the story of the day through the lens. While my focus is on capturing spontaneous moments, I am also skilled in managing and organizing the necessary posed family photos. This blend allows me to create a comprehensive visual narrative that reflects the genuine essence of the wedding day while ensuring that essential posed shots are also included.
Other Interests:
When I'm not holding a camera, I enjoy riding my bikes (pedals and motors) lifting weights, hiking and backpacking, fishing, and playing my guitar.
