In the tradition of weddings, the bride and groom usually throw the rehearsal dinner or a morning brunch, or both depending on your budget. In the spirit of your pre and post-nuptials, there are different ideas you can do to celebrate!

The best time for a rehearsal dinner is the night before the wedding. It will give everyone a chance to catch up and settle in before the big day. Instead of doing a traditional sit down dinner, see if there is a fondue or hibachi restaurant near you. For another fun activity, see if there is a free cooking class to make your dinner for everybody to attend. This is a fun treat for your bridal party, and you all learn a new dish as well! If you are doing the tradition of not seeing your groom the night before the wedding, then use this time to have a girl’s night out and enjoy yourself! (just not too much!)

If you are staying at a hotel, see if the venue has a continental breakfast they can throw in as part of your package. That way everyone can reminisce about the night before, and it will give you time for proper thanks and goodbyes to your bridal party and parents. Also, take some decorations from the night before and use it to decorate the table for the brunch, and save some time and money. For weddings at home, have breakfast at your house, or at a local diner that everyone loves!
