Kristen and Mathew’s Engagement Session

Congratulations to Kristen and Mathew on their engagement! This lovely couple will tie the knot on January 7, 2022 at David’s Country Inn in Hackettstown, NJ. Thankfully, one of our NJ engagement photographers were able to capture their special day.
To begin, their session was set on a fall day in a open field and park. Although it was a cloudy day, the sun peaked through and our photographer got to make the best and even better with the lighting. Kristen wore a long royal blue dress with a slit for her leg. She looked absolutely stunning! Mathew wore a matching blue and white flannel with tan kakis. He looked so handsome!
First, the couple stood hand in hand, face to face, on a wooden bridge. This photo is incredible! With the background and how they were positioned, it really made for one of their best photos. Mathew twirled his soon-to-be-bride as Kristen’s dress flowed with the wind. Moving on, the couple walked into the grounds of the field where their portraits consisted of stealing kisses; how cute! Then, Kristen and Mathew walked into the deeper ends of the park where trees surrounded them as one of our NJ engagement photographers snapped this moment.
After that, the couple found a shed where it made for some awesome looking photos! It gave their session an edgy twist! Finally, Kristen and Mathew had an outfit change! Kristen put on a cream colored sweater and black ripped jeans. She paired this with a scarf and tan booties. Mathew changed into a white tee with a green jacket and dress shoes. This made their pictures also have a casual feel.
