Thinking about having your wedding at a breathtaking venue by the New Jersey shore? Jodie and Brian had their New Jersey wedding at the elegant Mallard Island Yacht Club on Long Beach Island! On August 24, 2012 they said “I Do” on a beautiful summer day near the water.
The bride and groom prepared for their special day on site at the Mallard Island Yacht Club. Jodie and her bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done in the bridal suite, while Brian and his groomsmen prepped in their very own “groom’s shack”. This New Jersey shore wedding venue complimented the blue bridesmaids dresses and flowers perfectly!
The ceremony began at 6:00 p.m. in the Boathouse Chapel of Mallard Island Yacht Club where the happy couple exchanged I do’s. The chapel was bright and airy with stunning views of the water, making this romantic ceremony unforgettable!
After the ceremony the couple and their wedding party posed for photos near the water. Jodie and Brian took photos together in the chapel and the bridal suite while their guests enjoyed cocktail hour!
The reception was held in the ballroom of the Mallard Island Yacht Club where 125 guests gathered together to celebrate the newly married couple! The bride and groom shared their first dance, and the night continued with spectacular food, toasts from the maid of honor and best man, and lots of dancing!
Jodie and Brian requested the last song of the night be “Shout” by the Isley Brothers, and gathered all their friends and family on the dance floor to put their hands up!
