Why I Love Weddings:
There are 2 things I love most in life, watching people in love and documenting a good party! I have been shooting videos for over 10 years and absolutely love the process of story telling and making memories that last a lifetime. Wedding films are essential in capturing the small moments and candid emotions of the day. For many weddings are a once in a lifetime occurrence and I take pride in having the privilege to document such an important day! I also love the diversity of shooting different religious ceremonies and cultural performances. No wedding is ever the same and that's what makes me love my work so much!
A Little Bit About Myself:
I was adopted from Russia at the age of 11. Since I was a young girl I have always carried my camera with me everywhere to document my adventures. One of my favorite projects has been “a year in 365 seconds” in which I documented one second of every day for a year… inspired by a Ted Talk I watched. I would encourage anyone to try this. It’s like looking at a yearbook! Aside from videography, my interests include snowboarding, hockey, and being a Caps fan. In my off-season, I am usually traveling the world or pursuing a new side hustle.
Most Memorable Wedding Moment:
One of my most memorable wedding moments was when the bride asked me to stay after my film shift was over to dance and enjoy the party with everyone! I felt appreciated and loved vibing with the crowd. Moments like these really make me love my job!
I would describe my style as candid and cinematic with lots of camera movement and focus on the details. I like to overshoot so that all moments are documented leaving room for a super creative edit.
