Why I Love Weddings:
Photographing weddings allows me to capture the sweetest of moments during the couples special day. I love when the couple can see their finished product and admire their favorite moments of the night. That first glance at their images and their initial reactions warms my heart and motivates me to shoot more photos that can make couples have that same feeling.
A Little Bit About Myself:
I grew up in small town Maplewood, New Jersey. Growing up in a town like Maplewood allowed me to be exposed to different ways of creative expression. My father introduced me to photography at 17 years old. It was an interesting path for me to pursue because initially I thought photography was too technical for me. One day I just decided to pick up the camera that my father gave me and began putting it to use. I grew up with a supportive family that gave me the confidence to pursue a career in photography. I began taking photographs of my friends and that inspired me to take my photography to the next level.
Most Memorable Wedding Moment:
My most memorable wedding moment happened at a wedding where I was a second photographer. There was this one moment when the bride and groom were dancing in the middle of the dance floor and the other photographers were taking their photos. Suddenly the groom noticed that I was just watching. I was waiting to capture a special moment with the light glare as well the smoke on the floor to settle. I eventually captured the shot and showed the bride and groom after their dance. The bride immediately started crying and the groom gave me a fist bump. At that moment I realized that patience is key and sometimes one special moment is more valuable than a hundred tiny ones.
Other Interests:
I am huge dog lover. I love to cook as well as cycle on my days off. I enjoy nature and going on a nice hike from time to time.
