The ceremony took place outdoors, just as the sun was setting, casting a warm, golden light through the tall pines. Guests were seated in neat rows, with heaters placed nearby to keep everyone cozy. Kyle stood at the altar, a smile on his face, waiting for the moment he’d finally see his bride. And then, Kristina walked in, beaming with joy. Earlier that day, she had hidden their wedding rings under one of the guest’s chairs. When it was time to exchange rings, the lucky guest who found them became the honorary ring bearer.
