I have been photographing weddings for over 25 years. I’ve had an interest in photography since high school and continued my education in photography at Weber State University while I was on active duty in the United States Air Force. I was trained as a traditional photographer but for the last 12 years I have been documenting weddings in the Photojournalistic Style.

Why I love weddings

I like to capture the natural emotions of the day and I am passionate about documenting life. The big moments, the small moments, the fleeting moments. Weddings move me deeply because they are all of these moments and more. It is one of the most important days of your life and there are so many layered emotions, unique family relationships, beauty, details, laughter, tears and fleeting moments.

Every wedding and every couple has a unique essence, and I strive to capture that for you. It brings me a great deal of joy to be a part of one of the most important days of your life. In return, I give you beautiful and emotional photographs that will always remind you of how you felt on your wedding day.

Tell me about your photographic style

You’ll find that I am very non-obtrusive and can blend into the background as much as possible. Most of my couples comment that they are amazed by the moments caught as they were not even aware I was there.
