During a recent wedding, one of our photographers was taking the elevator at the reception venue with the bride and her mother just before the ceremony. The bride commented to her mother that she was so happy that her grandmother was able to make it the wedding.
Of course, our photographers always take family portraits and include all of the requested family members based on the couple’s shot list but our photographer wanted to do more. The bride wanted to really showcase three generations of marriage. After all of the couple’s pictures were complete, our photographer set up a shot highlighting the left hands of the bride, mother, and grandmother. All three loved the shot, said it was such a great idea and they hadn’t seen it done before! Later, our Production Manager printed three 5 x 7’s and shipped it to the bride, for no additional charge.
