Why I Love Weddings:
Out of all the styles of photography I've done over the years, weddings have always been my favorite. Being able to be a part of your special day, capturing these moments, and seeing the love the couple has for each other always brings a smile to my face. Watching the mother of the bride tear up as her daughter says 'I do,' watching a couple share a slow dance like they are the only ones on the dance floor—it's always a privilege to be able to be a part of this.
A Little Bit About Myself:
I've been in love with photography since I was a little kid, obsessed with my sister's old Nikon cool pix which is now over 20 years old. That camera now proudly sits on a shelf right above my computer. As an artist, I love to create in any way I can, from tattooing to sculpting to painting. I'm always looking for new and innovative ways to create. 2023 was the beginning of an amazing journey. I was featured in 3 art galleries, started dating my best friend of over 10 years, and moved out to NJ from Brooklyn. So far in 2024, I have been featured in 2 art galleries. 3 magazines for photography, paintings, and tattoos but my most important achievement so far, I got engaged to my best friend and am now planning a wedding of my own.
Most Memorable Wedding Moment:
It's hard to pick what my most memorable moment was from all the weddings I shot, but if I had to, I'd tie it to these two moments. The first was the first time I saw a groom cry uncontrollably during the first look. I've seen grooms cry, but the love he had for his soon-to-be bride was earth-shaking. In those tears, you saw how happy he was, how eager he was to jump into the next chapter of his life, and the fact that I was able to be the one to capture that was amazing. The second moment was watching a young couple slow dancing to Elvis' 'Can't Help Falling in Love with You.' The way this man held his pregnant girlfriend while singing to her and his unborn child like they were the only people in the room, seeing the love, the emotion, the moment they were creating was spectacular and still to this day may be one of my favorite photos I've ever captured.
Videography / Photography Style:
I find that my shooting style is very emotion-based and often categorized as a mix of photojournalistic and editorial, capturing beautifully posed photos as well as raw emotional candids.
Other Interests:
Apart from photography, I have many other interests, all based around art. I am also a painter focusing on portraits, and just like my photos, I often paint based on emotion. I've been featured in galleries and multiple magazines worldwide for my paintings, photography, as well as other art mediums. I've been a tattoo artist for the last 12 years, and I've found ways to tie all my art forms together. When the camera and paintbrush are down, I spend all my time with my beautiful soon-to-be bride Juliana and our two puppies, Chase and DaVinci
