Why I Love Weddings:
Weddings honestly changed my life. Before I was introduced to this career, I was working jobs that weren't fulfilling. I had dreams, but I didn't know exactly what I wanted to do for a living. Weddings gave me a purpose and a new perspective on life. Helping tell someone's love story through my art is a feeling that is indescribable. I'm privileged to capture the magic and excitement of the greatest day in a couple's life. The positive energy, tears of joy, and laughter create an atmosphere that is truly uplifting. To be a part of such an important day is an honor, and my passion for preserving these memories stems from the belief that love is the most powerful force in the world.
A Little Bit About Myself:
I've always been the artistic one in my family. While my two older brothers were into sports, I dove into the world of art and music. I loved creating things that could change people's perspective of the world around them. So when I picked up a camera for the first time there were some things that came naturally to me. Framing and lighting were things I already had some understanding of. I quickly fell in love with the art as I learned more and more about filming. I'm a very passionate person and I put my heart into everything I do.
Most Memorable Wedding Moment:
My most memorable wedding moment was during a first look. As soon as the groom saw his wife, he burst into tears and could barely speak. Stumbling all over his words, he embraced her. The bride was wearing a floral crown and he told her that she looked like a princess. You could see the true admiration in both of their eyes and it was clear they were in love. It was so wholesome and I think just about everyone in that room had tears in their eyes. Being able to capture moments like that for a couple is why I love what I do.
Videography/Photography Style:
I always try to get a feel for what the couple wants during their wedding day. I use versatile equipment to capture a wide range of shots that others may not be able to. Using creative lighting to provide unique shots of details and rings is one of my favorite things to do at a wedding. I love capturing genuine emotions in the moment. There's no better feeling than knowing that you got a once in a lifetime shot for a couple to cherish forever. I also love setting up posed shots for a more dramatic feel.
Other Interests:
When I don't have a camera in my hands, I'm always looking for a way to exercise the creative side of my brain. I enjoy writing, playing music, and painting to name a few. Spending time with family and friends is very important to me and I try to make as much time for that as possible. I also love to read and I'm always looking for a good book recommendation!
