Why I Love Weddings:
I love weddings because is the time when two people are going to take a serious commitment to the love that they have for each other. The search on looking for the one has ended. They are going to commit their lives to one another for a lifetime. It's also a place where they are surrounded by loved ones who are going to witness these two become one. It's definitely a moment to remember.
A Little Bit About Myself:
I have been a photographer for five years now. I have a passion for art; so I started in the music field (which is what I graduated from in college), to later pick up photography, where I found my true passion. I try my best to pass on what I know to others so they can develop their talents. Within those five years, I've helped people with photos ranging from birthdays to community events, and music festivals. I love to learn more and help others.
Most Memorable Wedding Moment:
They say time doesn't stand still, but I remember my first wedding was in late November. The bride and groom were at Central Park to have their ceremony. I remember feeling cold and anxious for the bride to arrive. The moment the Bride was making her entrance, it was as if time stood still for me. All Central Park stopped to watch the Bride make her way to the groom. It was a moment to remember. I want to be able to capture that essence for the couple to remember this magical time forever.
Videography / Photography Style:
I love street photography and the use of the "rule of thirds", which means that I place the subject in the left or right third of an image, leaving the other two-thirds more open to tell the rest of the story. In every photo I take, I try to incorporate this rule because what better story to tell that a wedding? I place my subjects in one of the grids so that anyone seeing the photos will see not only that the subject is the focus (of course), but a full angle of what was happening at that moment: the full story.
Other Interests:
I love learning new things, it's a passion of mine. In my free time, I tend to read a lot and take time to study the areas that I'm interested in the most. I also try to help others as much as possible so they have a load off their backs. In turn, I try to learn something from others that I don't know.
