Why I Love Weddings:
I can not emphasize enough how much I love weddings. I am a wannabe artist, but instead of painting with my hands, I paint with my eyes. I visually capture what I think would be in a beautiful painting or portrait. With that said, I want to capture passionate, memorable moments throughout the day. Sometimes I only have one chance to capture a shot I really don't want to miss so I am always ready for it. Every wedding is unique and I enjoy the variety of celebrations and having the privilege to capture the most memorable and lasting moments in people's lives.
A Little Bit About Myself:
I have over 20 years of experience in the art of wedding photography and have immensely enjoyed each of the 1000+ weddings that I have done. The best compliment I can hear from the couple is "Wow! I didn't know you took those awesome images!" Above all, my passion shows in the images my couples will cherish forever!
Most Memorable Wedding Moment:
When I capture weddings with multicultural and international flair, I am captivated by the celebration, the style of dress, the music, and the ceremonial elements of the event. It is a unique opportunity for me to document the joyous moments shared by the wedding couple, their family, and friends. My goal is not just for the couple and their family to see my photos, but to feel the emotion in them.
When I am able to capture the togetherness of people in a photograph, that feels like a big win. I will always remember a guest once complimenting me on how I brought family and relatives together for a photo. He said that the people I brought into the shot did not get along, but after the photo, they were able to interact peacefully and even enjoy the moment. I am not sure exactly what I did, but I focused on making everyone feel comfortable, relaxed, and happy.
Videography / Photography Style:
Beyond the formal shots you need for the families, I love capturing candid, photojournalistic, and romantic moments. If you need help with posing, I can comfortably guide you through that. I also enjoy setting up backlighting for night shots. I consider myself a passionate artist, but instead of painting with my hands, I paint with my eyes. I visually capture what I imagine would make a beautiful painting or portrait.
Other Interests:
When I'm not behind the camera, I enjoy keeping physically active by running and joining races. I'm also a history buff and love to travel around the world, admiring all the different cultures.
