Why I Love Weddings:
Weddings are an all-out party! Everyone is looking to have a good time, and that is what makes it so exciting! As new families are joined together, the expression of that love is infectious. It is an amazing, indescribable feeling for me to be able to experience these unforgettable moments with the newlyweds. Music can liven up anyone’s spirit and weddings are full of fun music. I love that I get to make it a great night for everyone by keeping them on their feet all night long!
A Little Bit About Myself:
I have always had a passion for listening to music to relax and escape. More importantly, I love being a DJ! I pride myself in my knowledge and commitment to great sound. You can always find me with my headphones on, and I love sharing my music with my three kids! I have been a DJ for a little over fourteen years now, and I find it to be one of the most rewarding jobs.
How I Handle Music Requests:
My top priority is that the newlyweds' vision has been met for the night! While I am DJing, I like to read the crowd to determine what song to play next. If somebody requests a song and the couple approves, I patiently wait for that perfect moment to incorporate it! I love when the energy of the music physically pulses into the crowd. Since every wedding is unique, it all depends on the wants and needs of the couple and their guests!
How I Get Guests Up And Dancing:
Music is the key to getting people up and dancing! I can feel the energy, as well as visualize how people will move to the music. I love mixing it up with the crowd, so I make sure to come out from behind the DJ booth to ensure everyone is having a good time! If the guests are feeling the music and energy, they will join in!
Other Interests:
Along with being a DJ, I have a passion for writing! I am actually in the process of writing my first novel, which is extremely exciting! I also enjoy poetry, reading, and humor. I believe these interests help me be an even better DJ because just like writing and reading, music is a unique form of art that lets me express myself.
