Why I Love Weddings:
I truly LOVE entertaining as a Wedding DJ because there are so many different aspects that go into it. From planning the wedding, choosing the songs, to seeing the day unfold, each part is equally important! I am always 100% committed to being there for the happy couple and putting their fears at ease!
A Little Bit About Myself:
I am married with 3 boys, and I love to spend every spare moment I am given with my family! We are a very active family, so I am usually outside watching them play basketball.
How I Handle Music Requests:
First, I consult with each couple prior to the wedding date to understand their taste/requests in music. At the wedding, I always try to read the crowd and adjust to their likes and dislikes. It's always my goal to keep the party exciting! I entertain any requests from the guests, but still use my own professional judgement. If it doesn't fit the list of songs that the couple requested, then I tactfully and respectfully explain that I need to play their playlist before I can play any other requests!
How I Get Guests Up And Dancing:
I like to mix up the genres of music from styles to decades. In addition, I like to have a good mixture or slow and fast songs, while of course reading the crowd! If for some reason, a song dies and the crowd filters out, then I quickly switch to another song that is more fitting. To get guests up and out of their seats, I like to play a few fun line dances. I am very personable, and so I love to get involved with guests on the dance floor!
Other Interests:
Above all, I love spending time with my family. From playing basketball to watching movies at home, we're always something all together as a family!
