Why I Love Weddings:
Couples spend months and sometimes years dreaming about their wedding day, and I love being the one who helps turn that dream into an unforgettable celebration. As a wedding DJ, my goal is to bring the energy, the excitement, and the perfect soundtrack that keeps everyone smiling, dancing, and celebrating all night long. There is nothing better than seeing the newlyweds surrounded by family and friends, filling the dance floor with laughter, great music, and incredible memories. Being part of such an important moment and knowing that I helped create that atmosphere is what makes it so exciting and rewarding for me
A Little Bit About Myself:
I've been DJing professionally since 2006. I got my love of playing music for people from my dad. I always enjoyed the art of DJing, and I wondered as a kid how DJs were doing what they were doing on the radio. I had to know. I had a friend who had DJ equipment. He let me use it and from there I decided I needed my own and I was going to be a DJ. I am living my actual dream!
Most Memorable Wedding Moment:
One wedding that always stands out in my mind was a night where the bride and groom simply would not leave the dance floor. From the start of cocktail hour you could already feel the excitement building as guests mingled, laughed, and looked forward to the celebration ahead.
Once the formalities were finished and the dance floor opened, the party instantly took off. The bride and groom jumped right into the fun and never slowed down. Their energy was contagious, and before long the entire room was packed with people who didn’t want the party to end. Moments like that are what make weddings so special. Seeing a couple enjoy every second of their celebration and knowing the music helped fuel that energy is what makes being a wedding DJ so unforgettable
How I Handle Music Requests:
I fit requests in where they fit the mood and moments of an event. If someone requests a slow song but the dance floor is packed, I will use that slow song to slow things down for the next reception event or maybe sometimes use it to motivate people to get up from dinner or dessert before moving onto something more upbeat! It's all about the vibe of the people and the party
How I Get Guests Up And Dancing:
I'm usually reading the crowd before the actual party starts to get a feel as to what the crowd likes and I hit them with an upbeat jam from a time/era based on what I notice that they might love
Other Interests:
In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, staying active through working out, exploring my creative side through art, and keeping up with politics and current events.
