Why I Love Weddings:
One reason why I love weddings is the atmosphere and vibe that transpires when loved ones come together in celebration of such a joyous event! I have found that the happiness at a wedding is infectious, and there is nothing better than being able to share in such a wonderful experience.
From a videographer's point of view, I also appreciate that weddings allow for a wide variety of shooting methods. When filming a wedding, there is an exciting blend of cinematic and composed shots along with “run and gun” and in-the-moment shots. For these reasons, I can’t see myself wanting to work in any other field!
A Little Bit About Myself:
I have spent the majority of my life living in Roxbury, New Jersey. I took an interest in videography towards the end of my high school career. I consider myself to be very personable and approachable. I am also very fun loving and I embrace spontaneity and making the most out of any situation. I have been making videos and creating short films with my friends long before I ever considered it a career!
Most Memorable Wedding Moment:
My most memorable wedding moment was when I showed off my first highlight video to the bride and she could not contain her emotion. She cried and told me that watching the video was like reliving the entire experience all over again.
It was in that moment that I realized how much of an impact my job could be and how each video is like a miniature time capsule that the couple will have forever. I will never forget her reaction, and I strive to create the same emotion for every wedding I do.
Other Interests:
Some of my other interests outside of videography include reading, writing, and watching movies ( I really am a story lover at heart!). The ability to create a certain feeling or convey a certain message is what I find fascinating about these activities.
They allow for new perspectives and ways of thinking to be opened up, perhaps without the viewer or reader even realizing. Aside from that, I also love adrenaline and partake in physical actives like long boarding, rock climbing and sports!
