Why I Love Weddings:
I love weddings because they bring every part of a couple’s story into one day. Family, culture, faith, and personality all show up in the details, and I get a front-row seat to document it. For many couples this is the first film they will ever have that truly feels like their life, so it is an honor to create something they can watch years from now with their children and still feel the same emotion. Being trusted to preserve those memories is what keeps me passionate about this work.
Most Memorable Wedding Moment:
One of my most memorable moments was a first look where the groom completely froze as soon as he saw his bride, then broke into tears and started thanking God out loud for her. The entire bridal party quietly stepped back and gave them space, and I just stayed still and let the moment play out. You could feel how real their love was without anyone performing for the camera, and that reminded me why I prefer documenting genuine emotion over staging everything.
Videography/Photography Style:
My style is cinematic documentary. I like to blend intentional, well-lit portraits with honest, unscripted moments so the film feels polished but real. I focus heavily on lighting, composition, and movement to create images that feel soft, romantic, and timeless. Clean audio, vows, speeches, and ambient sound are just as important to me as the visuals, so the final film feels like a movie built around the couple’s actual words and emotions.
Other Interests:
Outside of weddings I enjoy studying cinematography, testing new lighting setups, and creating YouTube and social media content around filmmaking. I love spending time with my wife and family, exploring good food around the city, and finding small ways to serve my community. I am also interested in business, personal finance, and personal development, always looking for ways to grow as a creative and as a husband and future father.
