Why I Love Weddings:
I love weddings because I always find it a privilege, to be a part of the best day of someone’s life. It is a beautiful sight to see when two people find each other and vow to be with each other forever. I love to capture moments like this with my camera. Touching and impactful images, that can last a lifetime.
A Little Bit About Myself:
Growing up in New York City, I naturally gravitated toward the arts. I started photographing at a very young age with street photography. From street photography, I started to take portraits of people. With the self-taught knowledge that I have gained, I furthered my skills by going to college and majoring in photography. From there, I had many opportunities to photograph events at New York Fashion Week and Campus Events. I was also the Art Editor for the published magazine.
I am a big comic book superhero fan! I have tons of comic books and Manga. You name a comic book, chances are I probably heard of it. I am an artist at heart. If I’m not photographing a wedding, I’m usually taking pictures at an art museum or art installations around the Tri-State Area.
Most Memorable Wedding Moment:
I shot a wedding a couple of years ago, and the groom decided to surprise the bride in a very unique way. The bride’s brother was a Marine and could not make it home in time for the wedding, because he was overseas. The groom knew how close they two were, so he arranged for her brother to record a video of himself expressing his love, for his sister. The bride was extremely surprised and cried for 5 minutes straight. This was an emotional moment shared between them, that also created sentimental and beautiful pictures.
Videography/Photography Style:
I enjoy using natural light and off-camera strobe lights.
Other Interests:
In my spare time, I love cycling, working out, drawing, and spending time with my family.
