Why I Love Weddings:
Weddings naturally unfold into beautiful stories, and capturing these moments creatively is a dream for a visual storyteller like me. A couple's bond is palpable on their wedding day. Sharing the joy and romance of this experience is inspirational, and I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to help preserve these memories for my clients.
A Little Bit About Myself:
Born and raised in New Jersey, I've traveled overseas extensively and spent 13 years living in California. Experiencing different cultures, environments, and histories has given me a boundless curiosity for humanity. Film and photography are my efforts to explore the human condition, and I consider developing authentic narratives a central part of my work. I'm consumed by the mystery and excitement of witnessing stories come to life.
Most Memorable Wedding Moment:
Climbing some scaffolding in a venue at the Missouri botanical garden to get an overhead shot of the entire wedding party was a fun and memorable experience. That was the most elegant wedding setting I've attended, and I just had to showcase the space from a unique perspective.
My videography style is varied. Considering my background in documentary film, I have an intense documentary and cinéma vérité approach to videography. But I'm also drawn to bold aesthetics, lighting, and cinematic qualities in my framing and photographic technique.
When I'm not shooting professionally, I'm shooting personal work. I love street, landscapes, and environmental portrait photography. Also, I enjoy traveling, playing guitar, trying new restaurants, keeping active, and spending time with friends and family.
