Why I Love Weddings:
There’s nothing better than being part of a Bride & Groom’s big day. When a wedding is a success from an entertainment perspective it’s a great feeling and you know that guests of all ages had a great time. A good DJ is armed with an extensive knowledge of music and the ability and experience to keep the party in sync with everything else that is going on at the event.

A Little Bit About Myself:
I grew up in Nutley, NJ and now reside in Howell with my wife and two sons, Jason and Tyler. I started my DJ career in 1993 with a pioneer in the mobile DJ industry and have  entertained at events ranging in size from 50 – 1,000 guests from New Jersey to San Francisco and many places in between.

Most Memorable Wedding Moment:
The most memorable moment had to be a New Year’s Eve wedding a few years back. This was held outdoors in the mountains with heated tents and fresh flowers everywhere. The combination of the elegant “ballroom” with the right music set the perfect tone as the snow fell outside.

How I Incorporate Music Requests:
When a guest requests a song I do my best to accommodate them. Whether it is something that will get the guests out on the dance floor or it’s more appropriate for cocktail hour or dinner, I’ll work it in. Especially if it is a must for the Bride & Groom.

How I Get Guests Up and Dancing:
Generally, I’ll start with a slow song or two and then pick things up. This assures that there are couples of all ages out on the dance floor already.

My DJ Style:
I’d consider myself an elegant DJ. If you are looking for a fist pumping maniac who is going to be on the dance floor with your guests all night, I’m not the guy. For an elegant affair where the guests of honor and the guests are the focal point of the evening, that’s more my style. The energy will be there with just the right amount of DJ banter.

Other Interests:
I have been playing in bands since high school and have been in original, cover, and wedding bands since then. I continue to play live when I am not at a wedding. I enjoy recording music as well and released a CD in 2009 that was recorded entirely in my home studio.
