About The Carriage House
Located in Galloway, NJ, The Carriage House was inspired by the design of Southern plantation homes. If you’re looking for a venue that offers elegance and a little bit of southern charm, then The Carriage House is the option for you. Further, Atlantic City is only a short drive away for the wedding fun to continue all weekend! This gorgeous event space host weddings and other special events. Due to its large size, there are several ballrooms and ceremony spaces for any wedding. For an intimate wedding, check out The Foyer as a place for hosting your ceremony. Upon entering The Foyer, you will be taken aback by the breathtaking double-curved staircase and crystal chandelier. (Perfect for Carriage House wedding photos to fill up your album!). A Little Tour…
But first, let’s give you a tour! The bride and groom will have their own private suites to comfortably get ready in. Relax a little with your wedding party before the festivities. Then, soak up all the beauty that the venue has to offer by having your ceremony in the bountiful garden area. There’s no need to worry about space as the garden can accommodate 300 guests. Furthermore, the garden is the perfect place to let the nature speak for itself in terms of decor. Of course, you can bring in any items you’d like to add to the overall space. Whether your wedding theme is classic or whimsical, this venue is perfect for how versatile you can make it. Lastly, white ceremony chairs and a walkway will be provided for you. If indoors is more your scene for a ceremony or the weather is not on your side, The Magnolia Ballroom or The Foyer can grant your wishes. One of our brides, Shena, was captured walking down the steps at The Foyer for a first look with her dad! Ballroom Bliss
After the ceremony, it’s time to start the party and for more Carriage House wedding photos! This venue is ready to turn up the music in any of their three ballrooms – The Grand Savannah, The Magnolia, and The Azalea. First, the Grand Savannah is exactly what is sounds like…grand! The room has two curving staircases and a romantic balcony leading down to the dance floor. Ultimately, you’ll feel like you stepped into a movie scene (except it’s really your own fairy tale!). Second, The Magnolia can hold 200 guests underneath its crystal chandeliers. The enchantment of the room is emphasized with its French doors, chic private patio, and more elegant detailing and decorations. You’ll be able to feel the magic and love in the air throughout every corner of this ballroom! Last but not least, check out the Azalea for a tight-knit yet inviting atmosphere. Your guests will be welcomed in by the sophistication and neutral, rich color tones permeating the room. Above all, each ballroom is beautiful in their own right and it all depends on your own unique taste!
Sweet Treats and More!
We promise you, The Carriage House’s culinary team will ensure that no guest will go hungry! They offer a wide variety of delectable food, ranging from savory seafood to mouthwatering desserts! Try out their delicious chicken and fennel or their Chicago-styled flat iron steak. In addition, The Carriage House has a sister company that specializes in gourmet Italian food. (Calling all pasta lovers!). Looking for something a little more casual? Well, the chefs have personalized stations like a late night snack station full of personal pizzas and other goodies that will add a unique touch to your event. Spoiler – we’re currently loving the idea of the milk and cookies station!
Around the Area
As we mentioned earlier, Atlantic City and the beaches are in close proximity to The Carriage House! We know weddings can be stressful, so why not take a quick trip to the beach before or after your wedding to unwind and relax?! Also, think about all the beach photo ops you can add to your collection of Carriage House wedding photos! After soaking up all the sun, you can head to one (or several) of the casinos that surround the area, too. Located within the casinos, you will find cute boutiques as well as plenty of places to grab a bite! You can find popular restaurants such as Gordon Ramsay’s Steak House in the Harrah’s Resort and Casino, as an example. Wanna keep the party going? Hit up one of the many nightclubs or bars in the area! Forget to bring something for the event? No worries, you can make a quick stop to the Tanger outlets for their wide selection of stores.
