Located in Spring Lake Heights, NJ, The Mill at Lakeside Manor is one of the four venues of the prestigious Clarks Landing Group venues. Originally, George Truesdale and his three sons found the brand, starting off as Clark’s Bar N’ Grill. However, Truesdale decided to close the restaurant in order to build The Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Point Pleasant.  Overall, the goal was to create the most functional, yet beautiful venues. Truesdale did just that with The Mill at Lakeside Manor! This elegant lakefront estate is sure to wow your guests and offer the best-of-the-best for your dream wedding. Let’s Get Ready!

What’s first on the wedding agenda? Bride and groom prep! The bridal suite is a peaceful space for everyone to get ready and enjoy themselves before the wedding festivities. Also, it is a safe space for the bridal party to keep their belongings throughout the day. Beauty products and touch-up hair tools are provided for convenience. Lakeside Garden Ceremony

Dreaming of a blossoming ceremony scene?! The Lakeside Garden at The Mill is the perfect area for the most picturesque and intimate The Mill Lakeside Manor wedding photos of your ceremony. Surrounded by seasonal beauty and a lake, you and the love of your love are provided a serene backdrop. The fountain centered in the middle of the lake is the finishing touch. During this lovely wedding video, our videographers do a good job of showing how picturesque this venue truly is. Janine and Mike are captured standing on the dock with the lake in the background. It honestly made their portraits even more breathtaking. This location also has greenery and views for days. The private dock behind the venue is what lovebirds love most about this venue. This is the place where you can take the most beautiful wedding photos. You may even have some wedding crashers (also known as the resident swans) throughout the day! One share-worthy ceremony mention goes to our clients, Amanda and Kevin! These two promised to love each other forever under the romantic gazebo outside and sealed their love with a kiss. Another wedding that captures how beautiful The Mill is highlighted on our blog is Ashley and Russ Wedding at The Lakeside Manor’. Their pictures came out stunning! Standing right on the edge of the lake, the greenery was stunning in the early summer. Ashley and Russ also incorporated their cute black labs in the portraits, which was simply adorable! This venue being so close to the beach, you can also get pictures on the beach. So you can get a two for one by having a beach that is a couple blocks away and a beautiful lake at the venue. Cocktails and Cuisine

After posing for The Mill Lakeside Manor wedding photos portraits, it’s time to celebrate with all the yummy foods and drinks. Clarks Landing Group completely understands that a wedding is incomplete without top-notch cuisine, and The Mill is no exception! Chef Hassan, The Mill’s talented head chef, has carefully created a four-course reception menu. The meal begins with a mouthwatering appetizer that is hand-picked by the couple before the entrees are served. Each guest gets to choose between four incredible dinner entrees, which makes it possible to accommodate each and every guest and what they like! The chef team is also flexible with food allergies and other dietary restrictions, and will be fully prepared to provide to everyone in this regard.

The Mill at Lakeside Manor offers both an indoor and outdoor space for cocktail hour. With a view of the lake from either area, guests will be greeted with white-glove service and champagne toast. The cocktail hour offers an open bar with over 25 different domestic, import, and craft beers. Additionally, more than 28 red, white, and sparkling wines were carefully selected to suit everyone’s palette. Furthermore, the food menu for cocktail hour is extensive (and that’s a good thing!). Over 25 appetizers are passed out, and guests can also choose from 6 Attended Captains Stations, which offer a wide-variety of foods that will please anyone and everyone. Elements that are also included are the seafood bar, pizza station, and a build-your-own station, a customizable comfort food station chosen by the couple. (We’re drooling right now thinking about comfort foods like mac and cheese or fries!). 

Time for the Dance Floor

Thinking about all the yummy eats has us in the mood to dance! The ballroom at The Mill, located on the second floor, is a newly renovated space to host your dream reception. Offering an unbelievable view of the lake, crystal chandeliers, and ceiling LED lighting, The Mill ballroom truly has it all! The couple of honor will enter from the custom-built Juliet Balcony through the automatic sliding doors. When they begin their first dance, the automatic window shades will rise to reveal the breathtaking sunset over the lake. On the dancefloor, you have the option of different lighting to set the tone. For Janine and Mike’s wedding video, when they entered  there were purple LED lights lighting up the room, setting a romantic tone for their first dance. Also the ceiling on the reception room has a gorgeous chandelier’s hanging. Which makes the LED lights reflect off of them in the most romantic way. The ballroom bar allows couples to highlight their favorite custom drinks that they can share with their guests on this special day.
