Grand Gateways
The Olde Mill Inn features a grand ballroom that can take any wedding from beautiful to extraordinary! The Grand Washington Ballroom is the largest wedding space at the venue. This room has the capacity to comfortably accommodate up to 240 guests. It features classic decorations and a romantic ambiance. The ballroom has a large hardwood dance floor, antiqued glass mirrors, and even a crystal chandelier. This gorgeous room opens up to the English Garden via amazing French doors, where ceremonies can take place among the blooming flowers. The English Garden also features a stonewall terrace and gazebo. Both spots are perfect for a photo shoot at any time of day!
Countless couples have held their special day here at the Grand Washington Ballroom. One special bride and groom, Eva and Josh, had a gorgeous wedding within the walls of this amazing space in 2017. The couple took this grand room and made it their own by placing floral arrangements not only on the tables but around the room as well. They also made good use of the large dance floor by filling it all night long with family and friends. The wedding didn’t stop just in this room, but the party also adventured outside to the English Garden and gazebo for pictures!
Intimate Spaces
If your wedding calls for a smaller room, the Grain House is a perfect location. This portion of the property is nestled in the rolling hills, with a stream and natural woodlands right outside. Depending on the season, this space also offers a tented patio for outdoor ceremonies. It features three different rooms where a smaller wedding or cocktail party can take place with amazing pictures from the Olde Mill Inn and Grain House wedding photos.
The Fox and Hounds Room accommodates around 120 guests for cocktail hour and 80 for dinner. The sun drenched atrium is not only beautiful at sunset, but makes for the perfect backdrop for photos any time of day! There is a deck that sits adjacent to the Fox and Hounds Room that overlooks the gardens and river on the property.
Another newlywed favorite is the Hunt Room and Pub. This space features a large stone-wall fireplace and a rustic pub that accommodates up to 120 people. The space is ideal for a rustic wedding, where guests can be surrounded by historical pieces. The room also has a vintage tin ceiling, natural hardwood floors and glass wall that opens out to a gorgeous terrace. The terrace then opens to the colorful gardens and a gazebo that can be decorated to tie in the theme or colors of any wedding. Quaint Celebrations
The smallest of the spaces at the Olde Mill Inn is the Grain Room. Although this room might be small, it is not to be underestimated! With the capacity to fit 60 guests for cocktail hour or 40 for dinner, the Grain Room is quaint and comfortable. Within this space is a brick wall fireplace, beamed ceilings, and an adjoining deck. The deck overlooks the property at the Olde Mill Inn as well as a view of the river. Great things come in small packages. In regard to the Grain House, this has never been more true!
Edible Elegance
Of course, a wedding is not a wedding without good company and amazing food! Luckily, the Olde Mill Inn not only features beautiful rooms for a reception to take place, but also seven mouth watering menus fit for any guest list!
An elegant venue calls for an elegant food selection, and the Olde Mill Inn accomplishes this with their “simply elegant” dinner menu. This includes a five hour open bar, eight options of butler passed hors d’oeuvres, and a selection of stations; all of which comes before the dinner even begins! The meal starts with a champagne toast to the couple, as well as table-side beverage service. It then continues into the first course, which is a selection of pasta or salad. Guests then have the choice between two meat dishes and a vegetarian option. These dishes could include honey miso glazed salmon, Cabernet boneless braised short ribs, grilled London broil, among many more options. This meal finishes with cake and coffee, and the option to enhance dessert with an assortment of seasonal pastries.
If a couple prefers something a little more out-of-the-box, the Olde Mill Inn also offers a BBQ wedding menu. This fun and creative option also features a five hour open bar that includes premium liquors, beer and wine. On top of great drinks, cocktail hour is filled with good eats, such as butler passed hors d’oeuvres and an elaborate spread of cold salads. The cocktail hour only gets better with the choice of different stations such as a New Jersey Slider Bar, Beer Garden Grill and South of the Border station. Dinner starts off with a choice of salad, followed by BBQ favorites such as barbecued chicken breast and crumb crusted mac and cheese. Naturally, dessert includes a custom wedding cake for the happy couple, as well as an ice cream cookie sandwich bar!
