The championship golf course at Woodcrest Country Club is one of many gorgeous courses designed by architect William S. Flynn. With its unique design and creative aspects, it is one of New Jersey’s premier golf destinations open to the public all year round. While you’re inside the country club, you can even catch a beautiful view of the eighteenth hole from the Fountain Ballroom. Say Hello to Your Bridal Suite
Why stress over the hair and makeup process at an offsite location? The bridal suite is the perfect spot for a bride and her girls looking fabulous for the day ahead. The bridal suite will make your girls feel like they are at a salon with how much they will be pampered! In addition, you will receive a complimentary breakfast (mimosas, please!) and fifty percent off of lunch. This way, the bride can get some R & R before tying the knot without any extra stress! After everyone is all dressed up and ready to go, Woodcrest offers two beautiful outdoor locations for couples to make their marriage official! Imagine exchanging your vows underneath a luxurious tented pavilion surrounded by all of your dearest friends and family. Furthermore, this outdoor space offers chair rentals as well as a seasonal welcome beverage station. Don’t worry, there’s also a backup location at the venue for inclement weather! Of course, the landscaping surrounding the course offers gorgeous photo ops for portraits any time of year. For example, Lillian and James’ December wedding is one to show for it! A blanket of snow covered the golf course, accompanied by evergreen trees in the background decorated with snow patches.
Let’s Talk Food and Drinks!
All that posing for Woodcrest Country Club wedding photos can work up your appetite! If you haven’t checked out the mouthwatering food stations at the country club yet, here’s your chance to! On their site, you can find all the details about their gold and silver wedding packages. Both packages include an open bar (four hours for silver, five for gold) with the ability to customize their grazing stations, plated dinner dishes, and desserts. We’re totally drooling right now over the grazing station options like tomato mozzarella skewers or mini meatballs! What’s cocktail hour without butlered hors d’oeuvres? From meat options to vegetarian, there’s something for all of your guests! Their buffalo chicken flatbread, shrimp tempura, or vegetable tostada sound like they are to die for (just to name a few!). In addition, you do not want to miss checking out their list of cocktail reception displays like the Tour of India or Modern Slider Bar!
After cocktail hour, you’ll have to save room for the main attraction…your entree! Their plated dinner service includes a first course of a soup or a salad and the second course as your main dish of fish, poultry, or meat served with your choice of two sides. Upon request, the talented chefs are happy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free guests as well. Last but not least, there’s always room for dessert served table side! Their menu features the most delectable, creative options to chose from such as red velvet cake shots, mini s’mores, or key lime tarts. Check out their menu additives for more sweet treats to enhance your reception like a cheesecake martini bar or chocolate fondue bar.
It’s Party Time
Time to break a sweat on the dance floor! The Flynn Ballroom, named after the designer of the golf course, is the first of the two ballroom options offered here. It is the largest of the two, with plenty of room for 250 guests. Further, this elegant room offers neutral coloring, making it easy for couples to decorate and add their own personal touches! Additionally, the Flynn Ballroom features a built-in bar, easily accessible for all guests to get their cocktails. The other ballroom is known as the Fountain Ballroom, accommodating 150 guests. Also, the room provides just the right amount of natural lighting, provided by the large windows overlooking the eighteenth hole. (Perfect for those Woodcrest Country Club wedding photos!). Here, you’ll find a custom-built bar area to keep your party going, as well as a mix of traditional comfort foods for guests to fuel up on.
