Why I Love Weddings:
I love capturing moments in the truest form. Since every love story is unique, every wedding is fresh and inspiring. I enjoy laughing, crying, and ultimately experiencing the day with the bride, groom, family and friends. I take pride in being an integral part of the wedding day although my presence is minor compared to the main focus: the bride and groom of course!!
A Little Bit About Myself:
I developed a passion for video at 7 years old, back when VHS camcorders were still a thing! So naturally, I love when my children became interested in shooting videos with my GoPro or help me fly my drone at the park. I also have a passion for visual storytelling, so shooting weddings keeps it fun, challenging, and motivating.
Most Memorable Wedding Moment:
Many parts of the wedding day are momentous. I particularly enjoy when couples exchange letters and read them aloud. Although alone, I find that couples experience this as an intimate moment with their soon-to-be spouse. Besides that, I love when couples do a first look! That split-second reaction from both parties makes its worthwhile to capture and experience forever in a video.
Other Interests:
Besides shooting and editing video, I enjoy playing and watching sports. Ice hockey and snowboarding are among my favorites, but I’m really up for any challenge. Every chance I get, I am doing something fun with my kids! They keep me young and on-the-go…just like a wedding shoot!
