About Bonnet Island Estate
Located in Stafford, New Jersey, Bonnet Island Estate is one of the beautiful wedding venues that make up the Weddings of Distinction company. In the heart of the Jersey Shore, this coastal event space is easily accessible from Newark, Philadelphia, and the Atlantic City International Airport. Founder Christopher Vernon wanted to share the beauty of the South Jersey area with others. With this goal in mind, the location of Bonnet Island, as well as five other venues, were carefully selected. Each venue offers historical vibes yet modern twists to create the perfect Jersey Shore wedding. The facility provides breathtaking views of the bay for an added touch of elegance for a wedding or private event. Let’s Check out The Rooms
Bonnet Island Estate offers all different rooms for couples to help their special day go as smoothly as possible. To prepare for the day, the bride and bridesmaids can get hair and makeup done inside the state-of-the-art bridal parlor. It makes the experience of getting ready for the wedding extra fun and helps the bride to relax, laugh, and unwind with her best girls and a glass of champagne! Furthermore, it brings awesome photo ops for your Bonnet Island Estate wedding photos early on! Additionally, Bonnet Island offers a Groom’s Shack for the groom and his best men to get ready in. This room gives off a rustic yet modern feel with a big-screen television for the the guys to enjoy. Bonnet Island also offers twelve private suites for overnight accommodations. Among these rooms are the junior and master bridal suites. Unfortunately, all special days must come to an end, but the luxurious suites at the Bonnet Island Estate provide a peaceful rest experience after a long day of celebrating!
Say “I Do” at The Chapel
Dreaming of traditional and sophisticated Bonnet Island Estate wedding photos for your ceremony? Look no further than The Boathouse Chapel! This rustic barn makes for the most picturesque spot for any wedding ceremony. Interestingly, the chapel was transported all the way from New England! Everything on the inside is pure white, with the exception of the flawless hardwood floors. The bride and groom stand front and center with a tall, stone fireplace behind them. Overall, the Boathouse Chapel is the icing on the cake to a picture-perfect day! Couples are not required to have their ceremony onsite, but the Boathouse Chapel is included if they desire to.
It’s Time for Cocktails!
The cocktail hour is one of the most essential parts of any wedding, right? It’s the kick off to the remainder of the celebratory night ahead of you, and Bonnet Island Estate does not take this lightly! They offer the lovely Veranda and Cocktail Lounge for delicious drinks and bites while overlooking the bay and natural marshes. Cozy couches are also available to unwind before you get to show off those dance moves later! This facility provides a quaint, sophisticated cocktail hour experience for all guests to relax and take the best Bonnet Island Estate wedding photos.
Dine and Dance for Days
Let’s head to the ballroom! With room for 250 guests, at 12 guests per table, this beautiful ballroom resembles the inverted hull of a sailing ship. Here, there’s plenty of room for everyone to dance and move around for Bonnet Island Estate wedding photos! The ballroom has a wooden dance floor as well as several windows around the room, providing stunning views of the bay and nighttime sky. This atmosphere in turn makes for a peaceful setting to enjoy the award-winning food from Merri Maker’s Catering, too! This exclusive Bonnet Island Estate catering service has been crafting the most upscale eats for nearly 40 years. The catering menu consists of several food and beverage options that are provided throughout the course of the wedding day. Guests are greeted with a choice of soft, refreshing beverages prior to the ceremony. There are even three different menu options for the bride and groom to choose from to serve on their special day. Conveniently, Merri Maker’s has their own cake collection, so there is no need to use an outside bakery!
Hello Estate Weddings
Loving everything about Bonnet Island Estate so far? Us too! Couples have the option to reserve the entire estate, which can accommodate 24 guests to spend the night. You are also welcome to rent the estate for just a five hour event, plus the onsite ceremony at the Boathouse Chapel is they wish. Rates do vary based on time of year and day of the week couples wish to have their wedding. Who knows…your wedding could be next!
