About Adelphia’s
Located in Deptford, NJ, Adelphia’s Restaurant & Banquet Facility is a family-owned venue minutes away from Philadelphia and Cherry Hill. Being so close to Philadelphia, it’s a great spot for locals and Jersey shore and city travelers. In October 1987, John, Peter, and Bill Balis opened its doors. Interestingly, the term “Adelphia” means “brothers” in Greek! For the last three decades, Adelphia’s has been hosting elegant weddings, parties, and events. The Balis brothers created a welcoming family environment and a place for guests to truly feel at home! In 2001, they opened a large state-of-the-art catering facility, along with their landscaped patio, and additional bar. The original building from 1987 still remains in the front, however, the expansions add a breathtaking picture-perfect landscape. Above all, our team at Enchanted Celebrations has a long history of taking beautiful Adelphia’s Wedding Photos, and we look forward to coming back any chance we get!
Let’s Talk Rooms
Adelphia’s has four different rooms to host events depending on the size and time of year! The Pan Athenian and spacious Grand Ballroom are beautiful for weddings and other special occasions to accommodate up to 600 people. Meanwhile, the reception room can hold up to 450 people as well as decorated to fit the event needs. Of course, cocktail receptions can be held in the bar or the night clubs! Outdoors, there is a patio and garden area for the warmer months as an alternative to the two ballrooms inside. Indoors or outdoors, it’s no surprise that Adelphia’s offers the perfect space to entertain and celebrate the night away!
Fine Dining and Breathing
Dining at its finest! Adelphia’s is open to the public for lunch, dinner, and late night. (We have our eye on Sunday brunch, too!). Don’t miss out on their buffet of pancakes, omelets, exotic fresh fruit display, and more! For lunch and dinner, their modern American cuisine meets a Mediterranean twist. Go for a comforting cup of soup with salad or a mouthwatering pasta or seafood dish! Pair that with craft beer, house wine, or cocktail to add to your overall dining experience. One noteworthy mention is their rice pudding martini with Rum Chata, Bacardi, cinnamon, and whipped cream. The party sure does not end once dinner ends! Bring on the Wedding Day Eats
For your wedding, the chefs at Adelphia’s will provide your guests with traditional, customizable menu! Whether you decide on buffet or family style, the menu will be uniquely yours! You can also rest assured that every dietary need will be met with vegan, gluten free, and vegetarian options. Of course, a wedding is made complete with a breathtaking elegant cake to share the special moment of cutting a slice after officially saying “I do!” With Adelphia’s, there is no need to go to a separate bakery for your sweet wedding treats! With an onsite bakery, a 48-hour notice is all that is needed to craft the cake of your dreams! Executive Chef Sara Fishman will go above and beyond to ensure your cake best reflects your wishes. Leading up to the big day, she will personally meet with couples to ensure the size, design, flavor and presentation is pristine!

First up, Christine and Thomas‘ beautiful summer reception showed off a classic, signature Adelphia ice sculpture. Amazingly, the sculptures are a crowd favorite amenity to the wedding packages! Luckily, their guests shared many emotions, hugs, and laughter that truly made this an evening to remember. Then, the dancefloor opened up and it turned into a real party! Later, Christine and Thomas concluded their evening by cutting their delicious three-tier vanilla cake and dancing the night away. Afterwards, everyone lit sparklers and hit the photo booth for some silly shots with the whole family. Thankfully, their Adelphia’s Wedding Videos contain these magical moments!
Next, let’s shine the spotlight over to Jillian and William‘s special summer wedding! Here, the decadent dessert stations from Adelphia’s packages fulfilled everyone’s sweet tooth! In matching button-ups, Jillian’s stunning bridesmaids were by her side all morning long getting pampered. With her one-of-a-kind brilliant blue lily bouquet in hand, Jillian fully rocked the aisle! Above all, sending the couple off to the reception with cheers made for the best way to kick off the celebration. Our NJ Wedding DJ knew just how to get the party started! The bridal party made their grand entrance onto the packed dance floor! Purple up lighting surrounded the reception hall and added to the royal ambiance of the magical night. More Perfect Pairs
Next, let’s shine the spotlight over to some 2018 videography! Take Ashley and Frank‘s spring wedding for example! Thankfully, their unforgettable reception at Adelphia’s was nothing short of wild! As soon as Ashley and Frank walked in, the real party started! Our NJ Wedding Videographer made sure to record the sentimental first dance shared between the newlyweds. Additionally, the live band kept the party bumping and rocking all night long! Everyone’s smiling faces on the dance floor made the icing on the cake!
Last but certainly not least, Danielle and Mike celebrated on a warm June evening outside Adelphia’s beautiful indoor space! Singing and dancing filled the reception as everyone celebrated their marriage! Twinkling lights lit up the room as the sun set, and the newlyweds shared an intimate dance together. Thankfully, our NJ Wedding Photo Booth gave guests a chance to take a break from the dance floor while having some fun. Now, it’s time to get in summer mode and read this couple’s full wedding story!
